Job Title :

Embedded Mentor

Job ID :

EM001

Job Description :

STI is building a team of top-notch, multi-faceted Embedded Mentors to enable soldiers and other military analysts in advanced analytical and technical processes. Made up of intelligence professionals with diverse experience and a broad exposure to JIOC/DCGS-A/IDC tools, Embedded Mentors will deploy to DCGS-A locations both domestically and internationally, including Iraq and Afghanistan. Embedded Mentors will be THE go-to resources for solving the hard analytic problems and ensuring that more junior analysts are continually exposed to creative and innovative problem-solving techniques. Deployment lengths will vary according to the customer needs, rotational arrangements, and Mentor preferences. Embedded Mentors will travel to supported units via any means necessary to meet mission requirements. This can include, but is not limited to military aircraft or ground convoy. When not deployed, Embedded Mentors will join other non-deployed Mentors in a collegial production and on-the-job training environment designed to support units and develop new Embedded Mentors. Travel is expected to be up to 50% but may be exceeded due to mission requirements.
