Job Description :

We have an immediate opening for a
Supervisor Logistics Management Specialist. This
individual will serve as a team supervisor of Logistics
for a 4-year Biometrics Contract and oversee, direct and
supervise a staff Logistic Management Specialists.
Additionally, there will be responsibility for the overall
planning, coordination, and execution of
communication/electronics special projects with high DA,
AMC and CECOM visibility.
Additional duties will include the following:
Plan and assign work to be accomplished by
subcontractors or by subordinates who guide and control
work.
Make decisions on work problems presented by
subordinates and sets priorities and work schedules.
Advise higher level staff of problems and prepares and
present briefings on status to PMO and customers as
needed.
Provide evaluation for subordinate Logisticians within
the company that perform work on the contract.

Job Requirements :
|
Must be a US Citizen
Bachelors Degree or Certification/Certificate in Logistics
from an accredited University
Minimum of 10 years of logistics experience; total experience
in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree or Certification is 15 years.
May be required to travel outside of the United States to
areas where the US Army has personnel deployed.
0-25% travel requirement.
Additional Information:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security
clearance.
Location: Lorton, VA (near Ft. Belvoir, VA)
