Job Description :

This position will support the Department of Defense Biometrics Program Office. It is located in the Ft. Belvoir, VA area (Springfield, VA). It is for work to be performed within the continental United States (CONUS) and may have short Temporary Duty outside of the United States (OCONUS) on critical technologies and services to support PM Biometrics.

Specific duties include performing logistic program activities from conceptual stage through life cycle of product. Developing and implementing logistics program activities including integrated logistics support (ILS); technical documentation; reliability availability, and maintainability (RAM); provisioning, etc.; coordinating efforts of subcontractors and field service personnel; resolving logistics problems; and compiling data on standardization and interchangeability of parts to expedite logistic activities.

• Must be a US citizen eligible for a government security clearance (SECRET).
  
• Must hold Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related scientific or technical discipline from a college or university accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
  
• Must have 8 years of relevant work experience in military logistics. A Certified Professional Logistician (CPL) certificate with 4 years of additional relevant work experience (8 years total) may be substituted for the Bachelor’s Degree.
  
• Must be proficient at MS Office.
