When STI first started, our primary focus was on helping the Army buy mission critical systems. We supported the acquisition of a number of sensor based systems. Our support went beyond the traditional metrics tracking activity and attending reviews. We evaluated proposed designs identifying potential problems and helping to provide solutions to those problems.

We participated in reviewing test procedures, finding holes, recommending procedures for testing and even developing entire test documentation going beyond the traditional test witnessing. This earned STI a reputation for understanding engineering technology and led to STI being approached by customers to engage in systems development.
