Sensor Technologies Awarded One of Seven Contracts for the U.S. Army's $19.25 Billion Strategic Services Sourcing (S3) Program; Work to Support the Command Control Communication and Computer Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Mission

RED BANK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 16, 2006--Sensor Technologies Inc. (STI) has announced today that the U.S. Army Communications-Electronic Life Cycle Management Command (C-E LCMC) has awarded one of seven contracts to STI, along with its hand-picked subcontractors, for the Army's Strategic Services Sourcing (S3) program. The five-year S3 program, with a $19.25B ceiling and additional five-year option, was established to support the C-E LCMC and Command Control Communication and Computer Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) community with engineering, logistics and business operations services.

The C-E LCMC and C4ISR community aggressively respond to the needs of the U.S. Army to reduce the total lifecycle ownership cost of its systems while providing more lethal, survivable, and sustainable capabilities to today's Warfigher. Since 1991, STI has provided software for mission critical situational awareness systems along with systems engineering and integration services to the U.S. Army and others.
